I am very excited about introducing the Cast Science Writer to our science teachers. Writing labs is something that is terribly intimidating for my high incidence students. Cast Science Writer has embedded supports like dictionary, sentence starters, writing checklists, text to speech, translation and walks students through each section of writing a lab. All of our science classrooms have smart boards so I can envision science teachers using this tool to help teach all students how to write science labs and then those students that continue to need that structured support, can use it. Love it!!
